First Bath

These pics are from a few weeks ago in case you are thinking that we never bathe our child. I just got caught up with other posts and haven't put them up yet. 

I was so nervous about the first bath since I know that most babies don't love the bath the first few times they are in it.  We had given him sponge baths up until his cord fell off and he HATED them.  However, once he hit that water, he was in heaven!  I honestly think that little tubby towel made all of the difference because he didn't get really cold.  I am happy to report that he is still loving the bath. I hope I am not jinxing myself like I did when I said he loved his paci and took a bottle like a champ... Oh heavens.

Also, thanks for the support from my post about my rough morning. Because of his "procedure", the doctor had us LOAD up that diapie with vaseline.  This created a problem since the vaseline was preventing the pee pee from going anywhere but out of the diaper.   After the 7th outfit and millionth diaper change, I finally realized that double diapering was going to be my only solution and I am happy to report that there was not a single accident after that!  And I started s l ow l y opening up that diaper when I change him so I don't get peed on anymore.  However, Jordan wasn't around to learn his lesson yet and Owen peed on Jordan {and his entire nursery for that matter} for the first time today. All I could hear from the other room was, "KRISTINE! HELP!!!"
