We went to Lagoon forever and a day ago, but I just dumped a bunch of pictures off my camera and kind of forgot about it.
I love Lagoon. I don't think I have been since I was in high school. I have been wanting to go for a long time and each summer, it was always on my list of things to, but then September comes around and I haven't been. Well not this year! After we scored some discount passes, it was a date! (literally because everyone was out of town/busy the weekend we planned to go and we went by ourselves)
On the sky tram. Exhausted after approximately 5 rides. And for some reason, we thought it was a good idea for our first ride to be on the one where you get soaked.
Jordan surprisingly had a good time and I was in heaven. Just as good as I remember. Except, I do not remember there being so many white trash people. I think every trashy person in a 100 mile radius made the trip there that day.
Also, I do not remember getting so tired when I was a kid or getting whipped around like a rag doll on so many rides. Literally half way through the day, we were exhausted, so we just kind of wandered around. I was planning on staying all of the way til closing, but we didn't even make it past 9!
Eating in pioneer village. I remember the food being a bit better when I was a kid.
After lunch, we decided to head over to the rapids ride. The line was like a 2 hour wait and backed allllllll of the way back into Timbuktu. We came back later and it was still long, but we decided to wait for it anyway.
And when we got to the front of the line, we found out why it was taking forever. The workers were asking how many people were in our party, but it didn't really matter - cause everyone got their own raft. Yep, just Jordan and I riding through the entire ride when probably about 8 people could have fit in.
Next up was the swing ride. Jordan was excited for it until he realized that it really was just spinning around in a circle for about 3 minutes. So he decided to just close his eyes. Meanwhile, I attempted 25 pictures trying to get a shot with both of us in it.
Hideous, but a success nonetheless. (Have you ever tried taking a picture while spinning fast in a circle in the air? Kind of hard)
Can't wait for next year!
