Jordan and I had made plans on going to get a delicious breakfast this morning. I was so excited cause I was so hungry, so I spent very little time getting ready... as did he. We pretty much looked like a few bums. He came to pick me up at about 11 and kinda started a weird way to the place. We were just driving along minding our own business when we see a car approaching the right side of our car. Next thing we knew, we were hit really hard and the car was spinning out of control. Some girl had ran a stop sign and T-boned the car. She was clearly speeding and wasn't making any effort to stop. A witness said she hit us so hard that it sounded like it was some sort of explosion. Jordan and I were pretty shook up. We ended up facing a completely different direction than we had been driving. The other car T-boned us on my side and the back passenger door was pretty dented in. Even my car door was slightly dented in. I was offered a ride to the hospital in the ambulance because my neck was hurt pretty bad. I didn't really want to go because I didn't really think it was necessary. After more than an hour on the scene of the accident, we were finally able to go home. We stopped and got a different breakfast and then headed to the emergency room. Man, that took FOREVER! I think we were there for like 3 hours. It was a lot of waiting. They gave me this weird neckbrace that was super uncomfortable and I had to just sit there. I couldn't really lean my head in any direction because the stupid neckbrace would like choke me or get really uncomfortable. They did some X-Rays and gave me some Lortab. The doctor said that I have a neck sprain or something like that. I already know that I am just going to have a horrible time with this because of my prior neck pain. It was like I already had pain and this is just not going to make it any better. Although it is no fun to experience it, I feel so blessed that we were just a little ahead of her. Had she hit us a split-second earlier, I think I might have been a little more mangled. So I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. As for Jordan's car, we are pretty sure it is totaled. It makes me sad cause I really liked that car! Hopefully he can replace it with one just as nice. :)
A close up view... We couldn't even put the car back into park, so there is quite a bit of damage underneath the car.
*Sorry if there are mistakes in the post or if they are a few grammatical errors. I am writing this while laying on my bed drugged up on Lortab. :)
