We celebrated our SECOND anniversary on March 6. I thought the first year went by fast, but the second year seemed so much faster. I still can't believe that I have been married for "over" two years. I feel old.
Since we went to Las Vegas during Valentines Day, we babysat for Jordan's sister Megan while her and her husband went out. So since we didn't do anything for V-day, we decided to splurge for our Anniversary.
We went to Ruth's Chris up in Park City. It was so funny to see the different people there. We decided to get dressed up (hello, we were spending over $100 on a meal, I wanted to look nice), and I expected that everyone would be dressed pretty nice as well since it was the fanciest place I had ever been to. Nope, there were people in cowboy hats, snowboots, t-shirts, and then people like us who were dressed up. It was so strange. The food was of course delicious, but I don't think we will be going back there anytime soon.
We also stayed the night in Salt Lake at the Hyatt and went to the temple the next morning. We didn't realize that sessions only started once an hour there, so we rolled in at 12:55. The person in Jordan's dressing room let him know that if he didn't make that session, he would have to wait an hour for the next one. No one in my dressing room told me that, so I was taking my sweet time. Whoops. I came into the waiting room literally one minute after everyone went into the previous session so we had to sit there for AN HOUR. It's ok, cause it was worth it in the end as we were able to do the work for Jordan's grandpa!
It was definitely nice to get away from work and school for the weekend!
