Hmmm, I wonder who planned this date...

Last Friday, Jordan told me we were going on a double date with some of our friends, Aubrey and Hunter. He said that he was waiting to hear back from his friend's wife about what were going to do on the date. The next thing I know, we are meeting them for a nice round of golf. Riiiiiiggghhhht, girls always plan golf dates.

Nice try Jordan.

This didn't even come 24 hours after we were just talking about how going to a movie and dinner is too expensive of a date and really not that worth it. Pretty sure golf fits into that same category.

Although I was reluctant, I must say, the golf course was pretty beautiful. I suppose it is ok to go on a golf date every once in awhile just to enjoy the scenery. As long as I can drive the cart.

Pretty nice huh?

Look REALLY close and you might be able to see the baby deer (Jordan took this pic). We saw probably 30 deer--not an exaggeration. But from the pictures, you can see we were pretty much on the mountain...

Can't wait to plan our next date! Shopping? Amusement park? Pedicures? Grocery shopping? The possibilities are endless...

Today...

I miss when my hair looked like this.
Must. Not. Cut. It.

I guess I will settle on just the color instead. Yes, that's a good plan.

Why Doesn't Anyone Blog Anymore?

One of my favorites from the archives...

I know I am a hypocrite for saying this...

Remember that one time when blogging was really cool? And reading blogs? And commenting on people's blogs?

I reread my sister Nicole's ENTIRE blog today (yes, the entire thing--start to finish). I miss her blogging like crazy and being able to see what her kids were up to. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE looking back at old blogs and reading past entries. But then I get really sad that blogging just isn't the same (I also get a little bored since I have already read all of the entries!).

So let's just all start blogging a little more, okay?

It's a beautiful night for a sunset...

Wouldn't you say?

I think with going to school this summer, the time has sure flown by. Summer is creeping to an end, and that makes me very sad. All of the small summery things I had planned are seeming more and more unlikely to happen. Picnics in the park, hikes, camping, riding bikes, going on nighttime walks, swimming... I can't even cross one of those off of my "to-do" list.
But school finished yesterday. And my summer vacation has just begun.

Here's to my next two weeks of freedom...
