Deja Vu?

Remember this?

Well, apparently it is time for round two. A few weeks ago, Jordan was pitching in his softball game and line drive nailed him right in the SHIN.

Yes, the shin.

He had (and by had, I mean still has) a little bump on his shin. His ankle was (is) all swollen and the side of his foot was (is) bruised. Apparently, continuing to play 5 more innings and running on it was not the best thing he could have done for his healing process. Who knew?

Let's hope that he doesn't get a round three. Although, since he has been umpiring this summer, he has already been nailed in the stomach and the neck...so...

Once Upon A Time...

...We went to California. And I never posted the pics. 95% laziness 5% didn't know where my camera cord was.

This took place ALL of the way back in March, but since my sweet little niece was baptized, I suppose it is special enough to relive.

Hallie and Avery's birthdays were in February and March, so I decided to make them some gifts (with the help of my SIL, Megan). I usually get them something Hannah Montana or HSM themed, so I'm not sure how they felt about these homemade gifts. I thought they were cute! Thank goodness kids just like presents and anything wrapped up real pretty... cause I might have gotten away with it...

Since Hallie turned 8, she got a brand new scripture bag to go with her new scriptures. Isn't that what every little kid wants? Welcome to adult life Hallie. This is only the beginning of the practical gifts.

We also got to go and see Hallie perform in her elementary school musical. As always, she was the star of the show! At the show, we had the privelege of sitting in front of THE most obnoxious people at the performance. I guess swearing is always appropriate at an elementary school filled with children. So is standing up in your seat to see your child perform, blocking everyone behind you and blabbering about how the other kid's performances were boring. And let's not forget the time that I dropped my program, you picked it up and handed it back to me, I quietly said "thank you" (it was during a performance for heaven's sake!) and then got to hear you rant for the next five minutes about how rude I was for not saying thank you. Thanks for letting me enjoy the show, you jerks!

Waiting for the show to start. Sorry Jaxton, I kind of cut your head off.

Sweet baby Jaxton... who is now 2. I guess we didn't have time to change his clothes after dinner.

And finally... the Baptism! We are so proud of Hallie and so excited for her!
Note to self... fix yourself up before taking pictures...

I hope that we can make a quick trip to CA before the end of the summer. I sure miss these kiddies! Lucky for me, we have Mariokart online to bond over...everyday.
