I lovingly refer to this photo as "what were we thinking??" this is a Gildea wedding tradition. It started out as the wedding photographer seriously wanting to take a picture this way (maybe at Natalie's wedding?) and the tradition has stuck ever since. I still can't figure out why we thought it was a good idea to give the shrimp half of the body weight to support on my own. As you can see, it almost didn't end well.
