I needed to take a little break from the Honeymooning... I think people were getting a little sick and jealous of seeing my fantastic vacation... and the fact that I will be doing the same thing in December with my family, so I decided to do a little Brain Dump to let you all know what is on my mind.
-I am an EMOTIONAL WRECK when I watch the Biggest Loser. The weird thing is that I don't even ever cry. I know many of you are so sick of Mark crying over his brother and everything else, but seriously, when he cries, I lose it. I am glad that Jordan doesn't like this show and watches TV in the other room because I would feel like a doofus if he saw me bawling over these people losing weight. But come on! It is great TV. I don't really know who is going to win tonight. I hope that Roger isn't in the Top 4 (not because I don't love him) but so an underdog (smaller man or woman) can actually have a chance. I also want to find some way to support my sister's family so my brother-in-law could go and win the show. Because he would.
-This is my last week of work in my office. Hooray! I don't have to deal with some of the crazy people I work with... BUT on the other hand, I won't be able to see my friends at work everyday :(
-I move to Chicago in like a week. CHICAGO. I have never even been there and it will be the place I call home for the next four months. Remind me why we thought this was a good idea again?
-I am dead serious about that poll up there. I want to know how many people are going to come and visit me. Let me just give you a glimpse of how my day will be going when we move there. Wake up. Work for 8-9 hours at home in my living room perhaps while sitting on my exercise ball (Dwight said it was a good idea). Get done with work at about 6-7 PM. Sit around and wait for Jordan on the couch. Jordan gets home at about 10 PM. Go to bed. Wake up and do it all over again. See? I am going to be a loser. And seriously, I am never going to leave the house. Maybe I will have to take a half hour break each day sometime between 10-2 to catch some good rays. At least I will be tan for no one to see.
-I am growing out my hair. I am just as curious as you what I will actually look like. I have had hair no longer than my shoulders ever since I can remember. Most of you will probably think I look better with short hair, but since no one will see me this summer, I might as well give it a whirl. If it is ugly, I will cut it. I also plan to make my hair really healthy this morning. I am going to let it air dry and will probably only actually do my hair with a blow dryer and flat iron like twice a week. No more split ends for me. Just frazzled, ugly, wispy hair every day. Yesssssssss.
-I have really let myself go. I know I am not fat or anything, but I don't even remember the last time I exercised. Ok, I do remember and it has been a long time. The other day, we were at a work BBQ and we did this blow-up obstacle course. After about three times through, I was light headed and COMPLETELY beat. I thought I was going to die. So I sat down and ate some ice cream. Aside from growing my hair this summer, I am also going to spend some free time getting in shape. We will see how long this lasts... but I will have a gym at the complex and a pool and I am going to do some things from my apt. I am telling you, you will hardly recognize me once I get back.
-I want to go and visit my sister in Australia. I think it looks like so much fun. They also went to Fiji recently and after seeing the pictures, Jordan really wants to go there too. I think that might be a little out of the price range for newlyweds. But we are going to try really really hard to save all of our money to go to Australia sometime. Maybe NEXT Christmas... gosh, that seems so far away.
-School starts in like four months and I am not ready to go back yet. I don't miss it... not even a little bit. But I know that I am almost done, so I am just going to try my hardest and just push through it.
-I read a lot of blogs. I have a lot of spare time while I am listening to yelling customers on the other end of the phone, so sometimes I read random blogs that I find. I know that there are probably random people that read mine too and I want to know who. If you know me and you read my blog (or if you don't really know me), chances are, I most likely already read yours too. So just tell me who you are and we can become blogger friends. It is such a relief to get it off your chest, right Kaisa?
-My rash (excema) is pretty much gone. Hooray!

first of all, good shout-out to kaisa.
Second, Ali and Mark are both annoying, and if kelly wins, than great cause she doesnt bug me either. But Roger has been likeable the entire time. He works out just like the rest of them and if his percentage ends up being less than ali's which it will, than i think he should win. Enough already with these people femenist lesbians who want Ali to win. She is adulterous. Didnt you see her with Mark? They are nasty. Not to mention, her and Jillian.
Also the contestants do get compensation. My boss told me he read an article. Its only like 5 grand a month, but still thats better than nothing, right?
Nick:
Please read the above comment and enter it NOW! You and Dave would win. DO IT.
Krinstine! I love you! You are so funny! I'm sorry you are a "wreck". I remember your hair being longer than your shoulders and it was lovely.
funny girl...good luck with the hair grow out for the summer. It is torcherous! But just do lots of pony tails and try not to look in the mirror too often. Yea, get in shape girl, if you are winded after an activity you need to do some exercise!
i also stalk your blog, but i told you that at your reception, where you looked beautiful. i'm depressed for you that you have to move to chicago. we were going to do that 2 summers ago, and move to philly, pa. BLAH. just move to sac-town. then maybe shavs will move back too?!
I have this really great idea. How about we have a girl trip to Chicago this summer to visit you... Anybody want to go? Julie? Nicole? Natalie? Katie? Erin? Megan? Shauna? It would be so fun! We could get tickets to Oprah!!!
Good luck with all of that. I have never gotten into TBL, I think you have to see those shows from start to finish and I always catch them in the middle. Supposedly we get it here, but I haven't found it yet.
I'd love to come to Chicago, I would probably end up attempting to stalk Oprah.
Good luck in your saving to come to Australia, next Christmas would be AWESOME since we WON'T be coming home then. AUST '09!
Why don't you come visit us this summer? You can help with a new baby. Yes, that's real fun :)
Since you asked, I read your blog. I love blog stalking. I grew up down the street from Shauna and Jordan. (well for a little bit.) I met you at your reception, but you probably don't remember me. That's okay.... big day. So yeah, Jordan apparently reads my blog because he mentioned something to my mom that I wrote about (and she was completely embarrassed!), so I think we can be blog friends. I didn't mean for this to be so long. sorry.
dear amy,
oprah doesnt film in the summer.
