Myrtle Beach Day 2

On the third day of the trip, the sun finally came out.  Our first order of business was to head to the beach immediately!  This was Owen's first trip to the beach.  I wasn't sure how he would react to the sand, but he LOVED it!  He's our little beach babe.

Hmmm, not so sure.

Digging right in

You guys, there's sand over here to play with!

Adding in the sand toys made it all that much better.

My two little beach bums. Favorite picture ever.

He loved this chair. He just sat there chilling and watching the waves. Beach bum, I tell you.

Kicking back.

Pretty beach.

Loved the warm water.

He would not stop eating the sand. He was covered in it for days (and because of this, the sand kept reappearing if you know what I mean...)

my little love bug

Playing with Auntie Erin - no naps equals cranky cranky baby.

Eating sand again...

That night, we headed down to Broadway on the Beach. It actually wasn't on the beach at all, but was an outdoor mall surrounded by water. It was fun to walk around.

With Grandpa Mark

They had fish food vending machines and these disgusting fish would just sit all along the bridge where those were located waiting for food.

Cool building on the water. It's an entire building built upside down (notice the fake palm trees "growing")

Walking on the bridge

First time on the carousel. He wasn't really a fan and it ended up like this:

Scaredy cat!
