29 weeks:
- I think heartburn is starting. I was really hoping I would be lucky and this is one pregnancy symptom that would somehow pass me by, but I don't think that is the case. I have never had heartburn before, but I am pretty sure what I had was a mild version of it.
- My belly is REALLY starting to move. Before a little kick would happen here and there. Now my entire stomach is just moving all over the place. It's kind of freaky looking, I'm not going to lie. Still no rib kicks... knock on wood.
- Insomnia is back with a vengeance! I know that they say that my body is just preparing itself for things to come. I don't need 11 weeks to prepare! Just one or two would be sufficient. And it's not that I am not sleeping all night. My body just has this automatic alarm clock where I wake up at 4 or 5 am. I'm not awake for the day. I'm not even wide awake. I'm just laying there, not sleeping. I will drift in and out of a very light sleep, but some days I just feel like I am tossing and turning for 4 hours straight. I'm not uncomfortable and don't have something weighing on my mind, I'm simply just not sleeping. And I don't know how I'm not sleeping because I am EXHAUSTED
30 weeks:
- I might be finally out of the woods in regards to nausea. I am yet to make it over 4 weeks without throwing up, but I feel better than I have up to date. I don't get as queasy if I don't eat every 2 hours on the dot. I think I actually made it 3 or 4 hours without eating the other day. It was a miracle!
- Each week I am amazed at how much he moves. I keep thinking he moves so much until the next week when he is moving even more.
- We took a trip to Sacramento. I wouldn't recommend flying at 30 weeks pregnant. The pressure made me so so bloated and I was uncomfortable the entire time. Luckily our flight wasn't too long though.
- Because I sleep on my hips, they are starting to get SORE. I wake up and they are numb sometimes. And if it isn't my hips, it is my neck and back. I figured I would have back and neck pain because I already have chronic back and neck pain... just not excited that it's already here!
- I might not be getting kicked in the ribs, but he sure does like to live up there. My ribs are sore just because he likes to nestle his little bum way way up there. My mom said I did the same thing all of the time. Like mother like son! If he isn't in my ribs, then he is down by my hips. And it tickles! He is constantly getting the hiccups right on the band of my jeans which was really cute at first. Now it's just kind of irritating (imagine a little twitch every few seconds on the tightest part of your jeans for 5 min straight) and I think we are both excited when they are over.
- Just the other day, I finally noticed that my stomach was a little lopsided. One side was kind of soft and the other was hard as a rock. Crazy that I can kind of tell where he is sometimes.
- 10 weeks seems to far away. But then I think about how he could realistically be here starting in 6 weeks (not that I am planning on it) and that seems so close! I know the time is going to fly by and before we know it, he will be here!

love reading about your funny pregnancy experiences! You make SUCH the cutest pregnant girl. I think we all get insomnia...I call it pregnancy insomnia. It's funny coz people say, enjoy sleeping all through the night because once the baby comes you won't sleep all through the night for 20 years...If they only knew what you're going through right now...
You're still looking cute! Can't wait to see you in a few more days.
